At the proposal of the Commission, with the consent of the Management Board, the Port of Zadar Authority’s General Manager, Robert Škifić, on Thursday, May 13th, took a Decision on the selection of Contractor for the construction works within the project “Reconstruction and construction of the port infrastructure City of Zadar – Peninsula”, better known as the reconstruction of the Zadar waterfront.
Following the completed public procurement procedure, published in the Official electronic journal of the public procurement in the Republic of Croatia on 2.2.2021, for the Construction works on the project “Reconstruction and construction of the port infrastructure City of Zadar – Peninsula”, with the estimated value of HRK 47,957,688.00 kn (without VAT), by the deadline on 02.04.2021 at 12:00, two tenders were received: Joint venture KALI GRADNJA d.o.o., Kali, Briv Construction d.o.o., Podgorica, Montenegro, and Joint venture ADRIAING d.o.o. Koper, Slovenija, Adriaing d.o.o., Buje.
In accordance with the most economically advantageous tender criterion, the selected tender was one of the Joint venture Adriaing d.o.o. with headquarters in Koper, the Republic of Slovenia and d.o.o. Buje, in the amount of HRK 47,798,253.94 without VAT, or HRK 59,747,817.43 with VAT. After the expiry of the appeal period, the contract will be signed with the selected tenderers on which the public will be notified in due time.
The works, which will last for 27 months, include the reconstruction of the quay wall of the Coast of King Petar Krešimir IV, 905,82 m long and 5,0 to 5,6 m wide, as well as the reconstruction (of approx. 64,5 m) and the extension (15 meters long) of the existing pier, by which it will be restored to the dimensions it had when it was first built one hundred years ago as a ship dock. According to the project documents, the existing characteristics of the area will not change, and the existing situation regarding the configuration of the waterfront, slopes and all used materials will be taken into consideration. The project also envisages the reconstruction of the coastal hinterland of the Liburnian Coast, 600 m long, and 5 m wide. The reconstruction will include the following important elements: arranging the waterfront, solving the rainwater drainage system and installing three new power cabinets with related water supply and electrical installation networks.
The total value of the project “Reconstruction and construction of the port infrastructure City of Zadar – Peninsula” is HRK 67,489,388.11, of which HRK 56,616,917.39 is co-financed by the European Union from the Cohesion Fund, while the national contribution is HRK 9,991,220.72.
